This Privacy Policy applies to any access to or use of the Mira Measure website located at Mirameasure.com. Lateral Reality Limited is committed to protect the privacy of individuals who visit the Mirameasure.com website (“Visitors”). Lateral Reality Limited (address: 1117 Budapest, Fehérvári út 50-52, Hungary; email: hello@mirameasure.com; phone: …) is the controller of Visitors’ personal data in line with art. 4 no. 7 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

What type of information do we collect from Visitors?

Information collected directly from Visitors

Lateral Reality may collect personal data from Visitors when they send us a mail or otherwise interact with us or make use of activities, services, features or resources made available on the website (such as registering for our newsletter). Lateral Reality will collect personal data from Visitors only if they voluntarily submit such information.

Information collected automatically

Lateral Reality may collect information about Visitors whenever they interact with our website. Such information may include web browser name, type of computer, IP address, the website that led the Visitor to our website, the website to which the Visitor goes after leaving our website, the dates and times the Visitor accesses our website, and technical information about the means of connection to our site such as operating system and Internet Service Provider utilised.

Information collected via third party analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, „Google“). The use includes the “Universal Analytics” operating mode. This facilitates the assignment of data, sessions and interactions across several devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus the analysis of a user's activities across devices.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help analyze how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States, a country that does not offer an equivalent level of protection of privacy to that applicable in the European Union. However, IP anonymisation is activated on our website, i.e. the Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking), thus Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand, so that a direct connection to the individual user is eliminated. Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. Google obliged itself to process all personal data received from the EU in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework (Art. 45 (3) GDPR).

On behalf of Lateral Reality, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Lateral Reality will only receive anonymized analytics data from Google.

Storage period: Visitors’ data will be erased after 14 months automatically.

All computers have the ability to decline cookies. This can be done by activating web browser settings. Furthermore, you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB. Visitors of our website receive notification of the use of Google Analytics when accessing our website for the first time.
